Good CarPlay module

I bought a Wireless Apple CarPlay Module. It arrived in 4 days. Installation was simple enough. Works as described in my car. Happy with the purchase.

My new Tesla screen is great

So I finally got that Tesla-style screen for my Model 3. Installation took a bit, but it wasn't too bad, just followed the guide. The screen looks super sharp, and everything works smoothly. Way better than the old display. It really upgrades the whole car vibe. I'd definitely recommend it if you're thinking about it.

Smooth process, good support

I ordered a Head Unit Upgrade for my older sedan last month. The website was easy to navigate, and finding the right product for my car model was straightforward. Shipping took 7 days from when I placed the order, which was within their estimated window. The unit came well-packaged with all the necessary cables and a detailed instruction manual. I had a question about one of the wiring connections during installation, so I used their online chat support. The agent was helpful and guided me through it quickly. The new head unit works perfectly; Apple CarPlay connects instantly, and the sound quality is much improved. Very satisfied with the product and the support provided.

Good value for a Smart Car Display

I was looking for a Smart Car Display and found one here. The price was competitive, especially after I signed up for their newsletter and got a small discount. Shipping was free, which helped keep the overall cost down. It took 6 days to get to me. The display itself is pretty decent for the money I paid. It wasn't the cheapest option out there, but it felt like a good balance between cost and features. For a first-time buyer like me, it felt like a worthwhile purchase and didn't break the bank.

Decent upgrade, some minor issues

I ordered a Tesla Model Y Instrument Cluster. Shipping took about a week, which was okay. The unit itself looks good and fits well. The display is clear and shows all the info I need. My only small gripe is that the touch response sometimes feels a tiny bit delayed, not a deal-breaker but noticeable. The price was fair for the quality. Overall, it's a solid upgrade for the car, but they could improve the touchscreen's responsiveness a little.

Hey guys, thinking about getting one of those Tesla style screens for my Model 3. Are they actually good quality or just some cheap knockoff?

M Megan J. 2 months ago
Yeah, I got one for my Model Y a few months back. It's solid, honestly. No complaints about the screen quality or anything.

Mine's been fine too. Not like, 'Apple Store' quality but definitely good enough for the car. Plus the features are awesome.

I'm looking at a couple of their products, a CarPlay module and a rearview camera kit. Can I use the newsletter discount on both, or like, stack a Black Friday code if there's one coming up?

M Mia 2 months ago
Nah, generally you can only use one code per order. They're pretty strict about that from my experience.

I tried to stack a coupon on a bundle deal once and it didn't work. So probably best to assume it's one discount at a time.

What's the return policy like if I get something and it just doesn't work out for my car, or I change my mind?

J Josh Marsh 1 month ago
Returns were pretty straightforward for me. Just follow their instructions on the website, wasn't a huge hassle.

Yeah, I returned a module once because I ordered the wrong one. They processed it quickly after I shipped it back.

Thinking between a CarPlay module from Autocovers or maybe a Hansshow one. Any thoughts on which is better?

M Marcus 2 months ago
Autocovers is solid, I haven't used Hansshow but my Autocovers module has been rock steady. No complaints.

I went with Autocovers because their installation seemed a bit simpler for my car model. Plus, reviews were good.

Is Autocovers legit? Seen some good deals but not sure if they're a reputable seller for car electronics.

G Greg 2 months ago
Yeah they're legit. Got my CarPlay box from them months ago, still working great. Good support too if you need it.

Definitely legit. Lots of people on forums use them. No issues with my order ever.

Anyone know how long shipping usually takes to, say, California? Trying to figure out if I'll get it before a road trip.

B Beth H. 1 month ago
Ordered a CarPlay module last month, got it in about 8 business days to Oregon. So yeah, probably a bit over a week.

C Colin 1 month ago
Mine took about a week and a half to Florida, so Cali should be similar. They ship from Germany I think.

Are these Tesla screen upgrades easy enough to install myself, or am I going to need to take it to a shop? Not super handy with car stuff.

G Greg 2 months ago
Honestly, depends on the car and your comfort level. Some are pretty plug and play, others involve a bit more messing with wires. There are usually videos for most models though.

I did my CarPlay module myself, wasn't too bad. The Tesla screens look a bit more involved but nothing crazy if you follow a guide. Just take your time.
